stories and experiences from our life together with family and close friends. It is also a way for me to preserve our life together. Nearly three years have passed since we began
dating and I have written little about our experiences together. We have traveled quite a bit in just three years (San Fransisco, Los Angeles, Las Vegas) and I want to make sure
that I write about our trips before I forget them. So I will write about them here and share the stories with those we love.
Mystery on the BRAVO! Express

For the past 16 months I have worked for Qwest. They are always working on ways to keep us motivated and working hard. Twice a year they honor the top consultants at a BRAVO! event; a dinner, a performance, and an award ceremony, all in one. I was among the top consultants for the first half of 2009.

Utah's Hogle Zoo

All summer Nathaly and I have seen commercials on TV for The Hogle Zoo, and all summer we have been wanting to go. The fact that summer vacation is done and Nathaly is back in school didn't stop us however. We took time off from work and school so that we could enjoy the zoo together.

Visiting the Lambert Family

Nathaly and I wanted to visit my family in St. George before school started up again, and before Spencer left for school. We spent 4 days and 3 nights down there and we had a great time visiting with everyone.

Our First Wedding Anniversary

Nathaly and I celebrated our first wedding anniversary in Las Vegas. We had a wonderful time, despite the heat and all the walking. We visited many of the hotels on the Strip and we even visited the Bodies and Titanic Exhibits at the Luxor.

A Romantic Dinner at Le Nonne

Sealed for Eternity

On March 14th, 2009, Nathaly and I sealed our marriage for eternity in the Logan Utah Temple. We are so happy to finally be sealed together. It was a beautiful day and a wonderful experience for both of us.

Christmas and a Blizzard

Nathaly and I spent Christmas with her family this year. We celebrated right at midnight so we got together in the evening of Christmas Eve. We had a great time. The next day we returned for Christmas dinner, and we got snowed in, so Allyson, Nathaly, and I had a bit of s slumber party.

Our Late Honeymoon

As a wedding gift, my mentor and friend Professor Blakley and his wife Catherine invited us to go on the Los Angeles art trip that he organizes every semester with Dixie State College. Nathaly and I had a wonderful late honeymoon visiting museums together and going to Disneyland.

Wedding Reception in St. George

Two weeks after Nathaly and I were married, my parents held a reception in their home so that everyone in St. George could see the newly married couple. Nathaly's parents joined us at the small reception. We had a fun time visiting with my family.

Our First Married Date

Our Wedding Day

The wedding day finally came. We had been anticipating this day for over a year. Nathaly was so beautiful in her wedding dress. I can't even describe the excitement and joy I felt as I watched her walk down the hill and down the aisle toward me.

Trip to Bear Lake with Tio Javier

Tio is Spanish for Uncle. Uncle Javier flew up from Peru for the wedding. Maritza was excited to show her brother as much as she could in the short time that he was staying in the U.S. and one of the places was Bear Lake.

My Graduation from USU

Our Engagement Pictures

Nathaly and I had our engagement pictures taken by Jessica Smith. She took us all over Logan to take pictures. We went to First Dam, downtown Logan, and to the railroad tracks. She knew exactly what she wanted and where she wanted to take us. The pictures turned out wonderful.

A Fire Near Logan Canyon

Nathaly and I were driving to my house when we noticed some smoke coming from the mountains. We drove down to see where it was coming from and found that the mountainside was on fire. We quickly picked up my camera and returned to watch.

She Said YES

Nathaly and I were engaged during a beautiful sunset at the beach in San Simeon, California. It was one of the happiest moments of my life. The night after we returned to Logan, Nathaly's parents toasted to our engagement.

Our Trip to San Francisco

Our Visit to Zion National Park

Nathaly and I see The Fray in Concert

I was listening to My995FM and heard that The Fray would be performing at UVSC and right away I ordered two tickets for Nathaly and I. This was the first concert that I have ever been to. Nathaly and I loved the concert.

Meet the Parents

I was so excited to introduce Nathaly to my family that we took the first opportunity we had to make the long drive to St. George. We had a nice stay with my family and they loved her. I showed Nathaly around St. George and we joined my family for a trip to the Temple Visitor's Center.
